Jolene's classesGuide all levels of students to find flexibility, strength, balance, and breath. Through gentle movement you can start to understand how and why your body holds onto tightness, tension, and possibly chronic pain. As your body starts to release you will notice that the body AND mind has a chance to relax. When you RELAX your central nervous system has a chance to reset and respond to the benefits of yoga.

when you practice yogaThe postures can become difficult but you will start to recognize what happens to the active mind, the stressed/relaxed body, and the breath. Everyone has days that can throw them off balance. Yoga is a tool to help ground us, motivate us, or even remind us to laugh a little.
Yoga is a toolJust as a toothbrush is a tool for dental hygiene. You can skip a morning brush but overtime you will get a cavity. Skip movement & connection then your body will hold onto tightness, tension, mental clutter, and other various types of issues that can build in the tissues.

Gone but not Forgotten
Any deployment is a hard deployment, so my heart will always go out to all soldiers who served in the military while doing any job. My heart especially goes out to the 5 fallen soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004. Serving with the 1544th Transportation Unit out of the Paris, IL Army National Guard.
