$9 reminded me to live a life with an attitude of gratitude.
These last few months I have been trying to teach myself where to where to direct my energy. It is easy for many people to watch my journey and tell me I am "to this" or "to that" or "I am chasing something" or "Im to emotional" or "I'm looking for the greener grass". I believe since March my life has been a "retrograde" which has been perfect for me to sit back and study, study, study. Trying to connect with myself & community to support my life to be sustainable and abundant. Damn these last few months have been scary and have brought out a lot of emotions and fear. Which has taught me that the only person that can pity myself, is me. The only person who can put me into a life I want, is me. I hit the lottery a few weeks ago that I have been trying to win. I drove 45 minutes to make $9. 1 person showed up for my yoga workshop and the unbelievable happened. All the knowledge that has come before me, came through me, and changed a man’s life for the better. In a matter of a few seconds I saw it and I felt his positive energy start to radiate. Just like the feeling you get when you see the sun after a weekend of rain. At the age of 35, I found certainty that is exactly what I am supposed to do with my life. That $9 gave me courage to let go of anything that no longer serves me, so I can keep an attitude of gratitude. If there is someone or something that questions how I live my life or make me feel guilty for my values than I need to release it with love. |
